Editor Insights Pro for Elementor — Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 23 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of and access to Editor Insights Pro for Elementor, including related subscriptions, license services, official downloads, updates, customer accounts, and support.

Editor Insights Pro for Elementor (“Editor Insights Pro”, the “Plugin”, or the “Product”) is provided by:

AZKM DESIGN S.R.L.
CUI: 42027370
Trade Registry: J20/1802/2019
Registered office: Str. Trandafirilor nr. 7, bl. 17, sc. B, et. 9, ap. 125, Hunedoara, Hunedoara County, Romania
Email: hi@editorinsights.dev

In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to AZKM DESIGN S.R.L.

By completing a purchase and accepting these Terms during checkout, you enter into a contract with AZKM DESIGN S.R.L.

1. The Product

Editor Insights Pro is a WordPress plugin designed to enhance the Elementor editing experience.

The features, pricing, billing interval, website allowance, compatibility information, and other characteristics of the Product applicable to your purchase are those presented on the Editor Insights website and during checkout at the time you purchase.

Editor Insights Pro is an independent third-party product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Elementor Ltd.

Elementor and related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Contract Formation

Purchases begin through the Editor Insights website and are completed through Stripe Checkout.

Before completing payment, you will be shown the applicable price, billing interval, currency, and other information relating to your order.

You are required to accept these Terms before completing the purchase.

Your contract with us is concluded when your payment is successfully completed and we confirm your purchase, normally by providing access to your account and license and sending a purchase or license confirmation email.

You should retain that confirmation email for your records.

3. Prices and Payment

Prices are shown on the sales page and during checkout.

The final amount payable, including any taxes or other amounts that must be charged where applicable, will be shown before payment is completed.

Payments are processed by Stripe.

We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number.

You agree to provide accurate and current billing and account information.

4. Subscription

Editor Insights Pro is offered on a recurring subscription unless the applicable purchase page expressly states otherwise.

The subscription renews automatically at the billing interval shown at checkout until it is canceled.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges using the payment method associated with your Stripe customer account.

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe may retry the payment and access to licensed services may be restricted while the subscription is unpaid.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer billing/account functionality made available to you or by contacting us at hi@editorinsights.dev.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, cancellation prevents the next automatic renewal and takes effect at the end of the already-paid subscription period.

You will normally retain your paid subscription entitlement until the end of that period.

Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically result in a refund of amounts already paid, except where the 14-day refund provisions below or mandatory law provide otherwise.

6. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Consumer Withdrawal

We provide a 14-day money-back guarantee on the initial purchase of Editor Insights Pro.

You may request a full refund of your initial purchase within 14 calendar days from the date the contract is concluded by emailing hi@editorinsights.dev.

You do not need to provide a reason.

Downloading, installing, activating, or using Editor Insights Pro during this period does not remove this 14-day refund guarantee.

If you are a consumer entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal under Romanian or other applicable consumer law, this section is also intended to clearly preserve that right. We do not require you to waive your 14-day withdrawal right merely because the Plugin is made available to you immediately after purchase.

Where statutory withdrawal rules apply, eligible amounts will be reimbursed without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law, normally using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is agreed.

When a purchase is refunded, the associated subscription and access to official license services, updates, downloads, support, and subscription-dependent functionality may be terminated.

Any rights you have already received in GPL-licensed code remain governed by the applicable open-source license.

The voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee applies to the initial purchase and does not restart on every automatic subscription renewal. This does not limit any mandatory rights that apply to a renewal or other payment under applicable law.

7. Consumer Rights for Digital Content

If you purchase Editor Insights Pro as a consumer, you have mandatory rights relating to digital content and digital services under applicable consumer-protection law, including Romanian legislation implementing European Union consumer law.

These may include rights relating to conformity with the contract, functionality, compatibility, security, updates, remedies for non-conformity, and reimbursement where required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or replaces rights that cannot legally be waived or limited.

Where these Terms provide greater protection than mandatory law, the more favorable contractual protection applies.

8. Commercial License and Services

A purchase gives you the commercial entitlement associated with your selected plan, including access to our official licensing infrastructure, customer account, official downloads, updates, and support for the applicable subscription period.

Your entitlement to those services is separate from the open-source rights applying to the Plugin’s source code.

An active subscription may be required for:

  • license validation;

  • continued access to Pro functionality that depends on an active license;

  • official software updates;

  • official download packages;

  • customer-account services relating to the Product; and

  • support.

The exact entitlement associated with your plan is the entitlement presented when you purchase.

9. Open-Source License

Editor Insights Pro contains code licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later) and may contain components distributed under other compatible open-source licenses.

Your rights to inspect, use, modify, copy, and redistribute GPL-covered code are governed by the GPL rather than by restrictions in these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict rights granted to you by an applicable open-source license.

These Terms instead govern the commercial relationship between you and AZKM DESIGN S.R.L., including subscription billing, license keys, accounts, official update infrastructure, official downloads, support, branding, and other hosted or proprietary services.

Redistributing GPL-covered code does not give the recipient the right to use your license key, customer account, our hosted licensing services, our support services, or our trademarks.

10. License Key Use

Your license key identifies your entitlement to our official licensing and subscription services.

You may use the license on the number and type of websites permitted by the plan you purchased.

Where a plan is described as allowing Unlimited Websites, there is no numerical site limit under that plan for websites you own, operate, maintain, or manage as part of your own work, including websites you manage for clients.

You may install and manage the Plugin on a client’s website where this is consistent with your purchased plan.

You must keep control of your license key and must not sell, publish, publicly disclose, or distribute the key as a standalone credential or provide it to unrelated third parties so that they can independently obtain our official licensed services.

You must not knowingly allow another person or business to use your account or license key as a substitute for purchasing their own entitlement where that use falls outside your purchased plan.

If a license key is compromised, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to protect the account and licensing service.

11. Customer Account

A customer account may be created or associated with your purchase.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably up to date.

If you believe that your account or license key has been accessed without authorization, contact hi@editorinsights.dev.

12. Official Updates

An active subscription may be required to receive official Editor Insights Pro updates through our licensing infrastructure.

Updates may include:

  • bug fixes;

  • compatibility improvements;

  • security improvements;

  • performance improvements;

  • feature changes;

  • new functionality; and

  • changes required by WordPress, Elementor, PHP, browser, or other platform developments.

Because WordPress and Elementor are third-party platforms that change independently of us, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every past or future version, third-party plugin, theme, hosting configuration, browser, or custom implementation.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the compatibility described in our current documentation.

Mandatory consumer rights relating to updates and conformity remain unaffected.

13. Support

Customers with an active eligible subscription may receive support for Editor Insights Pro.

Support is intended to cover reasonable questions and issues concerning:

  • installation;

  • activation and licensing;

  • Product functionality;

  • confirmed bugs; and

  • supported WordPress and Elementor environments.

Support does not normally include:

  • custom development;

  • custom website implementation;

  • third-party plugin or theme development;

  • unrelated WordPress problems;

  • server administration; or

  • guaranteed resolution of conflicts caused by unsupported third-party software or environments.

We do not guarantee a particular response or resolution time unless we expressly agree to one separately.

14. Acceptable Use of Hosted Services

You must not misuse our customer-account, licensing, update, download, or other hosted infrastructure.

In particular, you must not intentionally:

  • access another customer’s account or license;

  • use a license key to obtain hosted services outside the entitlement attached to that license;

  • falsify license or subscription information supplied to our servers;

  • attack, overload, disrupt, probe, scrape, or interfere with our infrastructure;

  • circumvent authentication or access controls protecting our hosted services; or

  • use our services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

These restrictions apply to our hosted and commercial services and do not restrict rights granted to GPL-covered source code.

15. Intellectual Property and Branding

Except for components distributed under open-source or third-party licenses, all rights in the Editor Insights name, branding, logos, website, documentation, graphics, marketing materials, licensing infrastructure, and other proprietary materials belong to AZKM DESIGN S.R.L. or their respective licensors.

Purchasing or using the Product does not transfer ownership of our trademarks or branding to you.

You may not present yourself as AZKM DESIGN S.R.L., Editor Insights, or an authorized reseller, distributor, or representative unless we have expressly authorized this in writing.

16. Third-Party Software and Services

Editor Insights Pro operates in an ecosystem involving third-party software and services, including WordPress, Elementor, hosting providers, browsers, and Stripe.

Those third parties are governed by their own terms, licenses, and policies.

We are not responsible for changes, outages, defects, restrictions, discontinued functionality, or other actions of third parties outside our reasonable control.

17. Availability and Changes to the Product

We may modify Editor Insights Pro and its related services in order to:

  • improve or expand the Product;

  • maintain compatibility;

  • address bugs or security issues;

  • comply with legal requirements;

  • respond to changes in third-party platforms; or

  • maintain the reliability and sustainability of the service.

Where required by applicable consumer law, material modifications affecting an ongoing digital service will be made and communicated in accordance with those legal requirements.

We may discontinue features, plans, or services where reasonably necessary, subject to our existing contractual obligations and any mandatory rights available to customers.

18. Disclaimer

Editor Insights Pro is provided for use in WordPress and Elementor environments and depends on software and systems outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the Product will:

  • operate without interruption at all times;

  • be completely free from defects;

  • work with every WordPress, Elementor, PHP, theme, plugin, hosting, browser, or custom-code configuration; or

  • meet every individual workflow or business requirement.

Nothing in this section limits statutory warranties, conformity obligations, consumer remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

If you are a consumer, any limitations in this section apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.

If you purchase and use Editor Insights Pro primarily for business or professional purposes, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses;

  • we are not liable for loss of profits, anticipated savings, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data where such loss is indirect or consequential; and

  • our aggregate liability arising from the Product or related services will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for Editor Insights Pro during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You remain responsible for maintaining appropriate website backups and testing software changes in an appropriate environment before deploying them to production where reasonably necessary.

20. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to your customer account, license services, official updates, downloads, or support where reasonably necessary because of:

  • material violation of these Terms;

  • fraudulent activity;

  • misuse of another customer’s license or account;

  • attacks or abuse directed at our infrastructure;

  • chargebacks or payment disputes involving fraudulent conduct;

  • unpaid subscription charges; or

  • legal or security requirements.

Where appropriate, we may first provide an opportunity to correct the issue.

Termination of access to our commercial services does not remove rights that an applicable open-source license already grants you in GPL-covered code.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

21. Governing Law

These Terms and your contractual relationship with AZKM DESIGN S.R.L. are governed by Romanian law.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law that would otherwise apply in your country of habitual residence.

Nothing in these Terms restricts any right a consumer may have to bring proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.

22. Consumer Complaints and Alternative Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first at hi@editorinsights.dev so that we can attempt to resolve any complaint directly.

Consumers may also submit complaints to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and may have access to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (SAL) procedures made available by ANPC.

Use of an alternative dispute-resolution mechanism does not remove any right you may have to use the courts where applicable.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our Product, business, legal obligations, pricing structure, or services change.

Changes will apply prospectively from the effective date of the updated Terms.

Material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will not retroactively remove rights already acquired under the version applicable to that purchase, except where a change is required by law or is otherwise permitted by the applicable contract and mandatory legal rules.

The effective date displayed at the beginning of these Terms identifies the current version.

  • your WordPress user identifier on our account system;

  • account status;

  • authentication-related information managed by WordPress;

  • purchased Product information;

  • license information; and

  • subscription information.

Passwords are handled through the website’s authentication system and are not stored by us in readable plain-text form.

Payment and Subscription Information

Payments are processed using Stripe.

Stripe may collect payment information directly from you, including payment-card details, billing information, transaction information, fraud-prevention information, and other information necessary to process the payment.

We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number.

We may receive and process information from Stripe such as:

  • Stripe customer identifiers;

  • Stripe subscription identifiers;

  • the product or price associated with the transaction;

  • payment and subscription status;

  • billing-period information;

  • renewal and cancellation information;

  • payment-failure information;

  • your email address; and

  • information showing that the Terms & Conditions were accepted during checkout.

License Information

To provide Editor Insights Pro licensing, we process information including:

  • the license key;

  • license status;

  • the customer and Product associated with the license;

  • creation and update timestamps; and

  • technical representations of the license used to securely store and identify it.

Connected Website and Plugin Information

When Editor Insights Pro communicates with our licensing service for license validation, update checks, or licensed downloads, it sends information necessary to provide those services.

This includes:

  • your Editor Insights Pro license key;

  • the Product identifier;

  • the URL of the WordPress website on which the Plugin is installed;

  • the website hostname/domain;

  • the installed Editor Insights Pro version;

  • the Plugin edition; and

  • related technical identifiers necessary to provide licensing and updates.

Our licensing system may maintain records associated with a connected website, including:

  • normalized website URL;

  • hostname/domain;

  • when the website was first seen by the licensing service;

  • when it was last seen;

  • the last reported Plugin version;

  • license status; and

  • disconnection information where applicable.

Technical and Security Information

When you access our websites or licensing API, technical information may be processed automatically as part of operating and securing the service.

This may include:

  • IP address;

  • request date and time;

  • request endpoint or type;

  • basic connection and server-log information;

  • security and rate-limiting information; and

  • diagnostic information where debugging is enabled.

Our licensing API uses IP-address information for purposes such as rate limiting and protecting the service against abuse.

Administrative and Security Records

We may maintain internal records of actions relating to licenses, subscriptions, administration, security, support, or account management.

These records help us maintain the service, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and establish what actions were taken in relation to an account or license.

Account-Deletion and Privacy Requests

If you request account deletion or exercise a privacy right, we process the information necessary to:

  • identify your account;

  • verify and understand the request;

  • determine which records may be erased;

  • determine which records must or may lawfully be retained;

  • resolve any active billing or subscription issues; and

  • document our response to the request.

4. What Editor Insights Pro Does Not Send to Us

The Editor Insights Pro licensing system is not designed to transmit your Elementor page content or website visitor data to us.

Based on the Plugin’s licensing and update functionality, we do not receive through those licensing requests:

  • Elementor page or template content;

  • text or images contained in pages you edit;

  • website visitor information;

  • your customers’ or visitors’ personal data;

  • analytics about how visitors use your website; or

  • analytics about the content of your Elementor projects.

Licensing communications are limited to information necessary for licensing, entitlement, updates, and official downloads as described above.

5. Why We Process Personal Data

We process personal data only where we have an appropriate legal basis.

Performance of Our Contract

We process information where necessary to enter into or perform our contract with you.

This includes processing necessary to:

  • process and confirm purchases;

  • create and maintain customer accounts;

  • provide licenses;

  • validate license entitlement;

  • provide access to licensed functionality;

  • provide official downloads and updates;

  • manage subscriptions;

  • process cancellations and refunds;

  • provide customer support; and

  • communicate important information concerning your purchase or account.

Legal Obligations

We process and retain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including obligations relating to:

  • accounting;

  • taxation;

  • consumer protection;

  • financial records;

  • responding to competent public authorities; and

  • other legal or regulatory requirements.

Legitimate Interests

We may process limited personal data where necessary for our legitimate interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Our legitimate interests include:

  • securing our websites and systems;

  • preventing fraud and abuse;

  • protecting customer accounts and license keys;

  • rate limiting;

  • detecting unauthorized use of our hosted services;

  • maintaining reliable licensing and update infrastructure;

  • diagnosing technical problems;

  • keeping appropriate administrative and security records; and

  • establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.

Consent

Where processing relies on consent, we will ask for that consent.

For example, publication of a customer review may be based on your consent.

You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before consent was withdrawn.

6. License Validation and Automated Checks

Our licensing service automatically checks information such as the supplied license key, license status, subscription status, Product, and connected website to determine whether the installation is entitled to licensed functionality, updates, or official downloads.

These are routine technical entitlement checks used to perform the service.

If you believe your license has been incorrectly restricted or rejected, contact hi@editorinsights.dev and we can review the situation.

We do not use personal data for solely automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

7. Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments, recurring subscriptions, and related billing functions.

When you use Stripe Checkout or other Stripe functionality, personal data is processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s own legal terms and privacy documentation.

Depending on the processing activity, Stripe may act as:

  • a processor handling information on our behalf; or

  • an independent data controller for activities such as payment-platform operation, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and other purposes determined by Stripe.

We share with Stripe only information reasonably necessary for payment, subscription, customer-account, and related billing functions.

Stripe’s contractual data-protection arrangements include mechanisms for the lawful transfer of European personal data where international transfers occur.

8. Other Recipients and Service Providers

We may make personal data available where necessary to service providers that help us operate Editor Insights, such as:

  • website and server hosting providers;

  • infrastructure and security providers;

  • email-delivery providers;

  • payment and subscription providers;

  • professional advisers;

  • accountants or tax advisers; and

  • other technical providers necessary to operate the service.

Such providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant service and are subject to appropriate contractual or legal obligations where required.

We may also disclose information:

  • where required by law;

  • in response to a lawful request from a competent authority;

  • where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

  • to prevent fraud or protect our systems; or

  • in connection with a corporate restructuring, merger, sale, or transfer of the relevant business, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

9. International Data Transfers

Some providers involved in operating our services may process personal data outside Romania or outside the European Economic Area.

Where European data-protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on mechanisms permitted by applicable law, which may include:

  • European Commission adequacy decisions;

  • the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable;

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission; or

  • other lawful transfer safeguards.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our websites may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for functions such as:

  • customer login;

  • authentication;

  • account security;

  • checkout;

  • session management; and

  • security.

Stripe may also use cookies and similar technologies when you interact with Stripe Checkout or other Stripe-hosted services, subject to Stripe’s own policies.

Where we introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential technologies that require consent under applicable law, we will provide the necessary information and consent controls before using them.

11. How Long We Keep Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for any additional period required or permitted by law.

The criteria we use include the following.

Customer, Subscription, and License Records

Customer-account, subscription, and license records may be retained for the duration of the customer relationship and afterward where necessary for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or contractual purposes.

Financial and Transaction Records

Information required for accounting, tax, financial, and statutory record-keeping is retained for the period required by applicable law.

Connected Website Records

Information relating to websites connected to a license is retained while necessary to operate and administer the license and may be retained afterward for a reasonable period where necessary for security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or licensing records.

Technical and Security Information

Security, API, diagnostic, webhook, audit, and technical records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for operational security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and legal purposes.

Short-lived technical information used only for functions such as rate limiting may be retained for substantially shorter periods.

Support and Communications

Support correspondence and other communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and afterward where necessary for customer-service history, legal claims, or legitimate business records.

Reviews

Published reviews may remain available while the consent or other lawful basis for publication remains valid.

Information associated with review moderation and consent may be retained where reasonably necessary to administer the review and demonstrate how publication was authorized.

We periodically review whether retained information continues to be necessary.

12. Account Deletion

Your customer account provides a mechanism for requesting account deletion, and you may also contact us at hi@editorinsights.dev.

Account deletion is handled as a manual process because we may need to:

  • verify your identity;

  • deal with an active subscription;

  • preserve records required by accounting or tax law;

  • preserve information required for fraud prevention or legal claims; and

  • determine which information can lawfully be erased.

Requesting deletion of your customer account is not necessarily the same as canceling an active Stripe subscription.

If you want to stop future billing, you should also cancel your subscription through the billing functionality available to you or specifically ask us to cancel it.

We will erase or anonymize personal data where required by applicable data-protection law while retaining information that we are legally entitled or required to keep.

13. Your Data-Protection Rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about how your personal data is processed;

  • request access to your personal data;

  • obtain a copy of your personal data;

  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • request erasure of personal data;

  • request restriction of processing;

  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;

  • receive certain personal data in a portable format;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and

  • lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, contact hi@editorinsights.dev.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

14. Romanian Data-Protection Authority

Because AZKM DESIGN S.R.L. is established in Romania, our relevant supervisory authority is the:

Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP or, where applicable, another competent data-protection authority.

We encourage you to contact us first if you have a privacy concern so that we have an opportunity to address it.

15. Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data and the systems used to provide Editor Insights.

Depending on the type of information and system involved, measures may include:

  • access controls;

  • encrypted communications;

  • secure handling of license credentials;

  • hashing and encryption;

  • authentication controls;

  • webhook verification;

  • rate limiting;

  • security logging; and

  • restricted administrative access.

No internet service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess it and take the steps required by applicable data-protection law.

16. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our websites or Plugin may refer or link to third-party websites or services.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this Privacy Policy does not control how independent third parties process personal data for their own purposes.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when:

  • our services change;

  • our data-processing practices change;

  • we use new service providers;

  • applicable legal requirements change; or

  • we otherwise need to improve the accuracy or transparency of this Policy.

The effective date at the beginning of this Policy identifies the current version.

Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes through the website, customer account, or email.
